ABOUT SALLY CORRICK

Originally from the UK, my family and I moved over to the US in 1999, living initially in Atlanta, Georgia where my husband was working for a software company.  At about the same time, we bought land in this area and built a vacation home as we had been visiting Florida for a few years and loved the lifestyle and, in particular, the Englewood location.  After many enjoyable trips to the area, we decided a few years ago to move here permanently.  We have two children in the local Elementary School and they confuse everyone with their strange accents which are a mix of deep-South-Georgia, British and American!!

We love this area - there is plenty for families to do (and we never go on beach holidays any more as the beach is now on our doorstep!) and the climate is fabulous.  Strangely enough, it is cooler here in South West Florida in the summer than it was in Atlanta  as there is always a breeze from the sea and it's never far to the beach or the nearest pool!

My work background combined technology and customer service which is a good mix for Real Estate.  I worked for systems integrators and software companies in Europe , managing their service operations and then moved into recruitment, initially in the UK and then in the US, running a company which specialized in recruitment and placement of technical specialists into organizations.  I have always had an interest in real estate and decided to transition into becoming a Realtor, combining my customer service experience and my real estate interest with my enthusiasm for this area and all it has to offer. 

My focus is YOU - the customer.  I like to take the time to get to know people, understand what their requirements are and then ensure that I can offer the best service and solution to meet their needs.  No two people are the same and I recognize that in the way I work.  I also understand the importance of ongoing communication and like to keep in contact with everyone regularly, even when they are overseas or out of state.  I send a monthly update to many people, not all actively looking to buy or sell property, but all interested in knowing what is happening in this area.
