    The Englewood area comprises a number of smaller communities – Placida, Rotonda West, Cape Haze, South Gulf Cove, East Englewood and includes the island communities of Boca Grande, Little Gasparilla and Palm Island.  All are unique.  The wide range of properties available include waterfront homes, golf course homes, starter and family homes, condominiums, duplexes, vacation and annual rentals and vacant land.  The location is ideal for visiting or commuting to the larger, more well-known communities of Venice, Sarasota, Port Charlotte and Fort Myers. 

    Is now the time to Buy?

    There has been a lot of negative media coverage recently about the Recession and increased foreclosures and short sales.  However, this is positive for Buyers!  Currently most prices are back at 2003 levels and interest rates are low.  For overseas buyers, even with recent exchange rate changes, the prices over here are still significantly less than the prices 'at home' and there are unprecedented levels of inventory to choose from.

    Is now the right time to Sell?

    Again, this depends on your personal situation.  Many people are concerned about selling in a 'down' market but if you are considering moving to a higher-valued property, this is THE best time to sell as the money saved on purchase will far outweigh any money 'lost' on a sale.  Properties are selling if they are priced right, despite the current competition.  I am always happy to do a no-obligations analysis of the current market for anyone's property to help them to decide whether to sell or not.  I can also talk through a tailored marketing plan specific to your property.
